Coffee Notes Music

Why Coffee Notes?

You may be wondering why I named my studio Coffee Notes Music…I love coffee and I love music…and they both have notes!

What do coffee and music have in common?

Coffee plants take many years to mature, sprout flowers and produce coffee beans. They must be watered, pruned and nurtured. If grown in an ideal environment, the outcome will produce an aromatic and delicious cup of java.

Good musicians spend many years studying, listening, evaluating and practicing. This takes a good deal of dedication and discipline. They must maintain the sound and tone quality of their instrument. The satisfaction of making beautiful music and sharing it with others is a well-earned payoff.

Here's a jazzy rendition of "Java Jive" recorded in 1974 by the wonderfully-harmonious Manhattan Transfer.
This smooth song was originally written by The Ink Spots in 1940.
